Introducing Readio: Your AI-Powered Reading Companion
Hey everyone,
I've started working on something new, and I'm pretty excited about it! It's called Readio, and the idea actually came from my own experience with books. I'm someone who reads a lot—often 2 or 3 books at the same time, mixing audiobooks and Kindle. Sometimes life gets busy, and I might not return to a book for a week or so. When that happens, I find myself completely forgetting who some character is or what's going on in the story. So my usual trick is to upload the book file to ChatGPT and ask it for a quick recap of the last chapter or a reminder about a character.
Or sometimes I'm reading a science book—like something about cosmology—and I get stuck on a complicated concept. Again, ChatGPT comes to the rescue with clear explanations. And then it hit me: why not build all these handy features into a single mobile app?
What is Readio?
That's what Readio is about. You'll be able to upload your books, instantly get chapter summaries, character reminders, and explanations for complex ideas—all right there as you're reading.
